You can't actually see me in the photo. I'm hiding behind someone.

On August 8th I attended my very first Southampton Bloggers meet up, organised by Alice and Amy. The event was held in the newly renovated Revolutions Southampton. I was super nervous about attending my first event but after a few tweets to fellow bloggers I was reassured everything would be fine. A few of us arranged to meet at West Quay and head to Revolutions together. When we arrived the girls had put so much time and effort into kitting the venue out for the day as well as working with brands who came to the event as well. These brands included: Love Cake Bakery and Cake Cetera who provided yummy cakes and macaroons for the event, Judes Ice Cream who provided some of the best ice cream I have ever tasted, Outcome The Wolves who had a stand with some of their pieces on, Hairfinity who gave us all a little goody bag with a months supply of their hair supplements and some recipes for DIY hair masks and Espa who gave us all a mini skincare consultation and goody bag.

As I mentioned earlier Espa gave us all a mini skin care consultation and a little goody bag with some skin care bits for us to try depending on our skin types. Inside the goody bag was also a voucher for a free facial as well.

Towards the end of the day there was a raffle and all the money raised went to the Epliepsy Society. As a group we raised an amazing £350. There was a table full of different prices donated by various brands. The prices included: An Oloves hamper, Esqido False Lashes, A Benefit hamper worth over £150, Tickets to London Fashion Week, A polaroid camera, A Clinique gift set, Sensational set, West Quay Vouchers and much much more.
I was lucky enough to win a £50 West Quay and picked up a pair of gorgeous Michael Kors Earrings which my other half was kind enough to pay the rest towards.

To finish the day off we were all giving not one but two goody bags. We were well and truly spoilt as you can see from the picture above. Some of the brands who were kind enough to provide us with samples and products included: Nair, Virtue drinks, Chill Haircare, Bee Good Skincare, I Love Cosmetics, Benefit, Oloves, Jurlique, Weleda, Witch, Nanshy, St Moriz, Hotel Chocolat and many many more.

Once again I would like to say a massive thank you to Alice and Amy for all their hard work and time and a big thank you to all the girls for making me feel so welcome. Also thank you to all the brands involved and Revolution for an amazing venue, food and cocktails which defiantly went down well.
