Bakerdays is a personalised celebration cake specialist providing quality personalised cakes for all occasions. The delicious range of recipes and sizes are available for delivery six days a week and if you order before 2pm Bakerdays can deliver the very next day.

Being a big cake love I was delighted when Bakerdays asked me to review their range of personalised letterbox cakes, that's right a cake that fits through your letterbox so no need to make sure someone is home to sign for or having to pick it up.

I headed straight to their website, it is so easy to navigate and I was pleasantly surprised by the wide range of personalised cakes on offer. The cakes in their range include, Birthday Cakes, Emoji Cakes, Hen Party Cakes, Congratulation Cakes, New Baby Cakes and Personalised Picture Cakes.
I chose a Personalised Picture Cake with camo icing and text. Once you have selected your cake design it is time to choose the sponge. You can choose from vanilla sponge at no extra cost or for a small extra cost you can pick from Chocolate Chip Sponge, Fruit Cake, Gluten Free and Dairy Free.
For a Vanilla Sponge Letterbox Cake the price is £14.99 which for the a personalised cake, a surprise for the recipient and delivery is definitely good value. Delivery itself is super quick, mine was delivered within two working days of the order being confirmed. Bakerdays is a great service for last minute cakes.

The cake comes in a small box with a tin inside containing the cake. The tin itself is sturdy and great to keep and reuse one the cake is finished. Inside the box there is also a pack of Love Hearts and a card from Bakerdays thanking you for ordering.

The letterbox cakes are about 15 centimeters in diameter with a soft layer of icing and soft, moist, tasty sponge. The cake comes wrapped in plastic packaging and can last up to two weeks in the packaging before being opened.

Bakerdays Cakes are great for all occasions. The ordering, delivery, range and taste were all exceptional. I would highly recommend taking a look at the Bakerday website. I would defiantly use Bakerdays again fir a special occasion cake.

You can view the full range of Bakerdays cakes on their website. Also don't forget to check them out on Twitter and Facebook.

Christmas is one of my favourite times of the year, from festive Christmas markets, buying gifts for loved ones to buying the Christmas tree and making the home all festive. As soon as December hit I couldn't wait purchase a tree, lights and decorations to make our new home super festive and help make our first Christmas in our new place a special one. As it is our first Christmas in our new home so it was time to purchase a new tree so we headed straight to Homebase on South Aylesford Retail Park.

South Aylesford Retail Park is located in Quarry Wood, Aylesford. The park itself is open from 8am till 8pm Monday to Friday, 8am till 7pm on a Saturday and 10am till 5pm on a Sunday. The late opening hours make shopping easy for everyone whether you work 9 till 5 or varied shifts.
There is a whole range of shops on the park including:
Homebase - Perfect for picking up all your Christmas decorations and making your home feel all festive in time for Christmas.
Smyths - Great for picking up some great presents for your kids or any children in your family. They also have some great offers on at the minute.
Currys PC world - Need a present for a tech lover in your family? Currys PC world will have you covered.
Halfords - Great for picking up presents for all the car fans in your family.
Carpet Right - Christmas is the time a lot of people like to make changes to their homes before the festive season starts. Carpet have some great offers on at the minute, perfect time to change up the carpets in your home.
Pets At Home - Thinking of buying the children a pet for Christmas? Head to Pets At Home and talk to the staff to see what there best recommendations would be.
M&S Food Hall - Great for picking up some festive treats for any guests you have visiting over the Christmas period.
Costa Coffee - After a day of shopping why not stop off at Costa and pick up one of their festive drinks and treats to recharge your batteries after a long day.

As I mentioned we headed straight to Homebase and straight to the tree isle. As we don't have a lot of space this year we opted for a 7ft Pencil Tree. We also opted for a artificial tree, as much as we would love a real one we don't really have the space and they are rather messy tress to have as well. We found the tree fits perfectly and the height really adds to the look. We have a tradition of buying a personalised bauble every year for our tree but this year we also went with a green, red and gold theme, perfect traditional Christmas colours. We managed to pick up a 71 piece set including a range of different sized baubles, a star tree topper and some tinsel. The set was reasonable priced as well which made it even better. No tree is complete without lights so we grabbed a set of 80 Multicoloured Lights which add to the festive feeling. On the light front we also picked up a of Icicle String Lights which are currently round our TV cabinet but we might pop them in the window instead. I couldn't resist picking up this super cute Open Front Penguin Bauble. The bauble itself is hand made and the attention to detail is amazing for the price. The last item we picked up to finish off making our home festive for the Christmas period was this gorgeous Gold Tipped Fern & Pine Cone Garland. We plan on putting this round our fireplace and adding some battery powder fairy lights to give it that extra homely touch.

How do you get your home ready for the festive period? Are you adding to your Christmas decorations this year?
