I am one of them those people who hates the feel of chalk and hates the sound of writing on a chalk board but love the look it gives so when I discovered Chalkola Liquid Chalk Markers I couldn't be happier.

Chalkola is a company makes vibrant, bright and bold premium wet wipe marker. They are designed to me as bold as a marker but as easy as chalk to rub out. The chalk markers are designed to work on a variety of non porous surfaces and removable with a damp cloth.

You can use them on all non porous surfaces including glass, whiteboards, mirrors, plastics, chalkboards and ceramics.

    The markers themselves are:

    - Child safe
    - Water based
    - Non toxic
    - Low odor
    - Acid free
    - Xylene free
    - Quick dry
    - Long lasting
    They also wash off clothing.

There is a full range Chalkola Markers including The Chalkola Party Colors set which include ten bright and vibrant colours including black, white, brown, orange, purple, pink, blue, green, yellow and red.

Also in the range are The Chalkola Earthy Colors set which includes eight muted pastel colours including white, forest green, lilac, pastel orange, green, pastel blue, golden yellow and pastel red.

On the back of the packing you get an easy quick start guide to help you get started with your markers.

To start using the markers firstly shake well with the cap on and up-right.
To activate the ink press the tip to and fro multiple times to quickly get the ink following.
You are now ready to start using the markers. When writing or drawing with the markers if you require extra ink simply just push down the pen to produce more ink.
Once you are finished with the pens replace the lid tightly and store in a horizontal position.

I have used the markers around the house from labeling jars in the kitchen to creating a chalk board with our wifi password on - you all know its the first thing you ask when you go round someones house.

I found the markers to be everything they claimed to be and more. They dried super quick, don't smudge and nearly a month later still look as vibrant as the day I first used them.

Chalkola were kind enough to give my readers 20% off when purchasing the markers through Amazon.

Amazon UK - Chalk Pens - Pack of 10 neon colour markers. Chalk Pens - Pack of 8 Earth colour markers
Amazon US - Chalkola Chalk Markers & Metallic Colors - Pack of 16

Use the code CHALK20A at the checkout to receive 20% off.

Will you make the change from chalk to markers?

2016 for me went by in the blink of an eye. Just like every year 2016 was filled with lots of amazing memories and the highs and lows that every year brings.

Lets look back on the memories made in 2016.

    - 2016 marked two years of living in Kent.
    - 2nd Valentines day with Glen.
    - Country to Country 2016.
    - Our engagement photo shoot.
    - Fishing trips.
    - Spontaneous days out.
    - 3 year anniversary with Glen.
    - Visits and shopping trips with Stacey.
    - Isle of Wight 2016.
    - Turning 24.
    - Moving into our new home.
    - Christmas 2016 in our new home.

My blog gave me the opportunity to work with some great brands this year and build some great relationships with brands and PR teams.

This year I have decided not to set any new year resolutions but to set myself goals and challenges.
    - Try and keep up a good blogging schedule.
I would like to post every day but sometimes life does just get in the way so if I can't post every day I plan to post 3-4 a week.
    - Be more organised.
Keeping the house organised, tidy and attempt to declutter. My plan for January is to organise all the paperwork and declutter the wardrobes and bedroom.
    - Work more on my blog.
I want to build more bonds with brands over the next year and work more on making my blog bigger and better over the next year.
    - Make use of my Olympus Pen.
I was very kindly gifted an Olympus Pen for Christmas from Glen and I couldn't be more excited to start playing around with it and improving the quality of my blog pictures. You might even see a few videos make an appearance over the next year.
    - Stop worrying so much.
I worry about everything and anxiety is something I struggle with but I want to make sure 2017 is as stress free as possible.

What are you hoping to achieve this year?

I hope you all have an amazing 2017.  Here's to it being a great one.
