After watching Faye from Fayefix do 'The Me Time Tag' that was created by Essie Button and Amelia Liana I thought it would be a fun tag to join in on. My 'Me Time' is normally on a Saturday morning when my partner is at work.

    1. What do you watch or read during me time?
I normal catch up with youtube and blogs when I have some me time. I sometimes put on a DVD or Netflixs which normally consists of watching Lee Evans or Jeff Dunham. I am currently reading #GIRLBOSS which I am nearly finished. Next on the list of books to read is 'Not that kind of girl.'

    2. What do you wear during me time?
99% of the time I will have pyjamas on or my dressing gown. Sometimes it will be leggings and an oversized tee. Just like Essie and Amelia me time is defiantly spend without a bra.

    3. What are your me time beauty products?
I tend to have a relaxing bath or nice hot shower during me time so a good bath bomb and a nice smelling shower gel. I also always apply my hope in a jar and a good body moisturiser during me time.

    4. Current favourite nail polish?
I have a few favourites at the minute so instead of picking just one I would say my current favourite nail polish would be anything with a wintery feeling to it. Currently on my nails I have Porchester Square by Nails Inc which is a nude with Essie set in stone over the top to add some festive sparkle.

    5. What do you eat or drink during me time?
I tend to eat treats during me time so normally some chocolate or some sweets.

    6. Current favourite candle?
I am a bit of a candle addict and love anything with a vanilla or sweet smell as well as minty fresh smells. I am currently burning a candle called toasted marshmallow.

    7. Do you ever have outdoor me time?
Not really unless I do a bit of shopping by myself after work. Personally I like being outdoors with people.

    8. Would you ever go see a movie alone?
No I probably wouldn't. Going to the movies is something me and my partner do together for a bit of time as just the two of us.

    9. Favourite online shop?
Defiantly ASOS for new in beauty and Not On The Highstreet for quirky gifts.

Anything to add? What else do you do during me time?
Not a lot really my me time is normally spent lying around and relaxing until the other half comes home from work. Thankfully he always texts to say he is on his way so I can make it look like I am doing something.

Such a simple but incredibly tasty tray bake.

    Ingredients:
    100g Unsalted butter.
    200g Milk chocolate.
    3 Tablespoons of golden syrup.
    225g Digestive biscuits.
    225g Maltesers.

    Step 1
Weigh out 225g of digestive biscuits, place them into a plastic bowl and crush them together. I used a rolling pin to do this. You want the biscuits to be light crushed with some larger pieces and some small.
    Step 2
Weigh out 100g of unsalted butter and 200g of milk chocolate.
    Step 3
Melt the butter, I did this in a glass bowl over a pan of hot water.
    Step 4
Once the butter has melted add in the chocolate and melt them together.
    Step 5
When the chocolate has melted add in 3 tablespoons of golden syrup.
    Step 6
Take off the heat and make sure everything is mixed together.
    Step 7
Add the chocolate mixture to the digestives and mix together.
    Step 8
Next step add in your maltesers.
    Step 9
Place the mixture into a tray and pop in the fridge to let it set.
    Step 10
    Cut into pieces and enjoy.

Here is what was in my Winter box.

    Montano Cider £2.79
Degustbox says: 'Montano is an elegantly crafted Italian cider made from apples grown in the foothills of the Dolomites. These orchards are the highest in Europe enjoying fresh mountain air and over 300 days of sunshine each year. The result is a golden, elegantly sparkling, medium-dry cider with a refreshing, crisp finish. Available in Tesco stores and Strada restaurants.'
My partner tried this as am I not a big cider lover. He enjoyed it, liked the taste and said he would repurchase it if he seen it in stores.

    Kettle Chips £2.19
Degustabox says: 'Back by popular demand, KETTLE® Chips is reintroducing two of its most loved seasonings as limited editions for Christmas. Salsa & Mesquite was one of the original seasonings when the brand first launched in 1988; it combines tomatoes, chillies, peppers and the aroma of barbecues. Stilton & Port is a rich and distinctive flavour which brings together the creamy notes of Stilton cheese with the sweetness of port wine.'
Kettle chips have always been a favourite of mine so I was excited to see a new flavour. I am not a big Salsa lover but these chips had a great taste and extremely moreish.

    Cool Dawn x2 £1.49 each
Degustabox says: 'Cool Dawn Recovery Drink is a herbal detox drink that helps to prevent and cure hangovers. It presents a complex and unique combination of citrus and licorice flavours. Contains no stimulant ingredients and is not carbonated. We recommend to have one full cold and shaken can towards the end of the night and another one in the morning if still needed.'
I have not tried these as I have not had a hangover yet. Perfect for the festive season though.

Lindt My Melting Moment x5 £0.65 each
Degustabox says: 'Lovingly crafted by the Lindt Master Chocolatiers, Lindor My Melting Moment allows you to melt away in a moment of pure bliss. Elegantly wrapped the snowflake shape is filled with irresistibly smooth melting Lindor milk chocolate.'
Five little melting moments mmmm. If you have not tried these yet I advise you go and pick some up. Lindt chocolate with smooth creamy chocolate inside. These would make perfect stocking fillers.

    Kent's Kitchens Flavour Shots £1.85
Degustabox says: 'Kent’s Kitchen flavour shots are a brilliantly quick and easy way to jazz up diced meat or prawns. These clever gel shots coat the meat or prawns whilst cooking and add a delicious taste to enhance meals. Perfect for wraps, with rice or jacket potatoes, on a salad or even to coat pasta.'
I have not tried these yet but I am looking forward to popping them with some chicken and some pasta.

    Pip Organic x2 £1.50 each
Degustabox says: ‘Pip Organic is a family run, London based business that produces an award winning range of pure organic juices and smoothies available in a range of take home, grab & go and children’s formats Following environmentally sustainable principles and made from 100% organic fruit, all of our drinks are not from concentrate and contain NO added sugars, water, preservatives or additives. Pip, Pip Hooray!’
My partner tried these and throughly enjoyed them. He said the only downside was that the bottle was quite small.

    Branston Chutney £1.50
Degustabox says: 'Create the perfect dining experience with NEW Branston Chutney! Caramelised Onion works perfectly with any after dinner cheese and bread, and the distinctive taste of Mediterranean Tomato goes well with smoky meats, cheddar and biscuits. Available in-store now, the delicious, versatile range is set to become an everyday staple.'
I am not a big chutney lovely but my partners mum tried this. She said it goes perfect with some crackers as a quick snack.

    Holy Cow x2 £1.69
Degustabox says: 'We love our home cooked food – it’s very different from what you find in an Indian restaurant in the UK! Everyday home-cooked Indian food has delicate layers of flavour. It’s simple, healthy food'
We used these with some chicken and lamb. The packet says they serve 2. They do but there is not a lot of sauce to go around so if you don't mind just a light covering of sauce these a perfect idea for a quick dinner.
