For about year and a half now I have owned an Iphone 4S. When I was due an upgrade from my Samsung Galaxy I knew I was jumping on the Iphone band wagon as I already owned an Ipad and was desperate for an Iphone. I am due an early upgrade and will be upgrading to an Iphone 6 when I head home in July.
Now lets take a look at what I keep on my phone. Lets start with the case. My case is from Next and cost me a £1 in the sale. I don't like spending a lot on cases as I get bored with them easily. My lock screen is a picture of Glen and I from our engagement party and my home screen is a picture of my gorgeous engagement flowers from Glen.
I like my home screen to look as minimal as possible. On my home screen I have two rows of apps and folders. On the first I have Mail which allows me to keep up to date with all my emails, Clock which I use as my alarm clock, Settings pretty self explanatory and a Social folder. On the second row I have a Photography folder, Apple folder which just has iTunes store, Apps and Music in, Apps folder and my countdown app. Along the bottom I have Messages, Phone, Safari and Instagram.

In my Social folder I have Twitter, Whatsapp, Facetime, Snapchat, Facebook Messenger, Facebook, Line and Timehop.
In my Photography folder I have Photos, Camera, Videos, PicStitch which I used to make colleges for Instagram and VSCOcam which I used to edit photos.
My App folder is three pages but most of the apps just the apps that are already on the Iphone that you can't delete. On the first page I have the apps that I use on a regular basis: HSBC Fast Balance allows em to check my bank balance on the go, Boots to see what new offers they have going on, Cineworld as Glen and I both have Cineworld cards, Wish Glen introduced me to this. I haven't had a proper play with it yet but it looks like a good app, Period Tracker I am a girl after all, Notes, Calendar, Calculator and Passbook which I use in conjunction with Cineworld as you can put your tickets into your passbook so you don't have to print them off or que.

The last app on the second row is my countdown app. I always have our next trip back home to see my parents and sister in here. We are heading back for a week in July to say I can't wait is an understatement. At the minute I also have our anniversary on their as well. As we are in the North already we are heading to York for our 2 year anniversary this year.
My final app is Instagram. 90% of the time the first thing I do when I wake up is check Instagram. I normally post of a daily basis as well.

What are your favourite Iphone apps?

I have tried to give the best advice and tips I could from my experience in Airsoft, but in this post I am going to tell you why I got into Airsoft and why I can see myself playing the sport until I’m too old to move, even then I’ve got a plan to mount a gun to a wheelchair. I got into Airsoft a few years ago thanks to a good friend of mine, Rob. Turns out Rob played Airsoft many years ago when it was still in its earlier years and UKARA wasn’t around so getting RIF’s was a lot easier. As you may have guessed there are a few years between us. However, we met through a college at work and we got chatting and got onto to the subject of paintball for works dos and birthdays and he said that he preferred playing Airsoft. He told me about it and how he used to play years ago, after that we booked up as rentals to play at Ambush Adventures in Chobham just down the M3. Ambush have a few sites, check their website for details, the one in Chobham is woodland, with structures they have built, it has a stream running through the centre of the game area which will always be one of the funniest memories I have which I well tell you in a bit. The site in Chobham is about an hour and half away from where we live but we chose to go there as it’s where he first played so off we went. We had a great time and many laughs and as promised my story, I was behind cover exchanging fire over a small stream trying to push over the bridge, anyway a rental decided he was going to jump it, even though your expressly told in the safety briefing not to, well he ran attempted to jump but slipped in the mud and went face first into the stream, the stream isn’t particularly deep but is full of stinking mud. Needless to say he came out looking and smelling like a swamp monster, players from both sides had forgot about the game as we were too busy laughing, I personally couldn’t breath and was in the foetal position, was a very good day, not for him though. This is one of the reasons I love the sport, the social side to it, going to different sites and talking to as many people as possible and having a great time. We played at Chobham for over a year or so, progressing from rentals, to having all our own kit and RIF’s, mainly from the shop on site run by Badgertac. We were introduced to the pizza munching Ian, who goes by the name Ratty, and ever since then me and Rob have been regular customers to Badgertac and regulars to his own game site Bluestreak Airsoft in Aylesbury. I would recommend any Airsofter new or old to go and play there, you won’t be disappointed. We have played a few other sites and plan to visit a few more but Bluestreak will always be as we feel, the best. The other reason I got into Airsoft is that I find it very cathartic after a long and stressful week at work there’s nothing better than packing the car and going off for the day with no worries and only a good time to look forward to. After all that the main reason I got into Airsoft was my friend Rob he opened the door for me and we both can’t wait to hit the skirmish field at the weekend. I would say that if you can go with a friend then do, but don’t be afraid to go on your own as well it doesn’t hurt to meet new people.

I hope this has given you a little in sight as to why have such a passion for the sport and has given you more incentive to get yourself out there.

Last weekend Glen and I went away for the night to Ashford International Hotel. The hotel itself is well located and a lovely hotel with a spa in it as well. When the hotel was booked we both knew we would be taking full advantage of the spa. The spa itself had a pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room. There was also a gym upstairs and you could also book yourself in for spa treatments. We both really enjoyed relaxing the pool and came away feeling extremely relaxed.
When it comes to packing toiletries you can't beat mini products. A lot of my favourite products don't come in mini size so I decanted my favourites into some bottles and little pots from Primark. A lot of people complain about these leaking but I have never had a problem with them touch wood. The toiletries bag is also from Primark. It has three sections and is one that can be hung on the back of a door.
Lets start with the top section. This section is quite small but great for putting little pots in. In the four little pots I decanted my day time moisturiser Philosophy Hope In A Jar, my night time moisturiser Philosophy Hope In A Jar Night, Estee Lauder Take it Away Makeup Remover Lotion and Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter. Also in the top section I also popped in my toothbrush and toothpaste, a razor and some cotton wool.
The middle section is detachable and would be perfect to pop in your handbag as a makeup bag. In this section I had some of my decanted Simple Micellar Cleansing Water, Garnier Micellar Cleansing Wipes, Herbal Essences Clearly Naked Dry Shampoo and the Nominoe foam cleaner.
In the bottom section again I decanted some of my favourite products. To wash my hair I took with me my Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Conditioner which was great for after being in the pool and my primark volume shampoo which I am not to fussed on but I am trying to use it up. To wash with I took some decanted Aussie Fresh Mate Shower Gel, I love the smell of this and it is so refreshing to use on a morning. I also took some Soap Glory Whipped Clean Shower Butter, once again the smell is amazing but I like using this to shave my legs as well.
Something else I took which I forgot to pop in the photo was my Laura Mercier Creme Brûlée moisturiser, once again this smells amazing and leaves you feeling super soft.

What are your essentials for a weekend away?

A lot of brands are bring out new foundations at the minute including Maybelline. Their new Fluid Touch Foundation claims to even and perfect skin with complete, natural looking coverage, Have an impeccable, yet undetectable finish and have an ultra-thin, fluid touch formula.

Lets start with the packing. The foundation comes in a 20ml bottle which is 10ml less than the average foundation bottle. The size of the bottle makes it a good travel size foundation the only downside is that the bottle is glass so you would have to be careful with it.

Maybelline have created a unique application for this foundation. First shake the bottle well, hold the dropper vertically and allow the foundation to drop onto your fingertip then apply to your face as usual.
When applying the foundation I find the teardrop applicator to be a bit of a pain really so I use the wand to apply it to my face before blending in the foundation. I do find the applicator to be quite scratchy though so my advise would just to be careful with it or use the dropping technique. I do find that you don't get a lot of product on the want so you have to re-dip the applicator a lot.

I found the foundation to give quite a sheer coverage but was build-able. Even when built up I found the coverage still wasn't as good I would have liked. I found the lightweight formula gave a soft matte velvet finish which felt good on the skin.

Overall I would give the foundation 7 out of 10. I find it perfect for when I am at work as I don't like to wear a lot of makeup for work and I find this foundation gives me the right amount of coverage to give me a natural look.

You can purchase the foundation from Boots for £8.99 or Superdrug for £8.99.

Have you tried Maybelline Dream Flawless Foundation? What are your thoughts?

So the New Look spring up to 60% sale has started. Most of you will know I used to work for New look in the past and if you were an employee you got 50% staff discount. It is safe to say I miss my discount a lot so I always like to have a quick look when they have a sale. I could not resist this Nothing to wear t-shirt as I have a lot of clothes but never know what I want to wear. I fell in love with the print on this Floral print dress and thought it would be perfect for the summer season and will look great paired with a pair of sandals for a summer bbq. My current work uniform is smart office style clothing so I thought this Black floral print dress would be perfect to pair with some tights and dolly shoes. If you follow me on twitter you may have seen my tweet about having a spa break with Glen this weekend. Even though we live together it is nice to just get away for the weekend and spend some quality time together. I always like to put a bit more effort in when we go for a weekend away and a nice meal. A new dress or top is normally in order to make me feel a bit better about how I look. While browsing the sale I fell in love with this Cameo Rose Knot front skater dress and the Cameo Rose textured twist front dress. I couldn't decide which one I liked better so both of them may have fallen into my basket ooppss.

Have you spotted anything in the sale?

Month four of 2015 over and done with. April was the best month of 2015 for me as Glen and I headed North with his family to spent Easter with my family and Glen gave me the best surprise ever and asked me to be his wife. We could not be happier and I still feel like I am on cloud nine. We have been to our first wedding fair and we can not wait to start planning our special day.
April is also the month of my sisters birthday and now that I live about an hour from London it has become a new tradition that we always take a trip to London. For my sisters birthday our parents were kind enough to us both a ticket to go and see the Alexandra McQueen V&A Exhibition which was amazing. If you get the chance I would highly recommend going to see it. There are some absolutely breath taking pieces in the exhibition and the shop at the end has some gorgeous souvenirs.
Now onto the beauty bits. For Christmas I was kindly gifted the Jacks Wills Body Spray set and this month I have been loving throwing one in my bag just to freshen up after my break at work.
Whilst in London my sister and I took a quick trip to Westfields. We were slightly disappointed with the shopping centre but we did pop into the Bobbi Brown store where I picked up the Bobbi Brown Full Coverage Face Brush. After seeing Vivianna does makeup rave about this brush I needed to get my hands on it. I have used it every day since and I am completely in love with it. No London trip is complete without a trip to Kiko. On this occasion I picked up a few things but two of my favourites for this month were Kiko Perfect Gel Duo in Strawberry Pink and Kiko Creamy Lip Gloss in Vintage Pink. The nail polish is a new product by Kiko which gives you gel nails without having to use a lamp and you can easily remove the polish with normal nail polish remover. I got the colour strawberry pink which does start of pink but as it wears my sister and I came to the conclusion it it turns into a move of a coral pink colour. As for the lip gloss crayon it is a gorgeous plum colour which I find the perfect colour to wear day to day to work.
Selfridges always happens when we go to London as well even if we don't buy anything we both love wandering round the beauty department and normally getting lost and end up not remembering which way to get out which personally I don't see as a problem. On this trip we headed to the Charlotte Tilbury counter *insert heart eye emoji* as my sister was after some products for her birthday and I was having a big debate with myself as to whether or not I wanted Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lip Cheat. As you can tell it happened the lip liner came home with me. I find it is the perfect colour to fill in all of your lips and pop a lipgloss over the top. I already own Bitch Perfect which when paired will Pillow Talk makes a perfect lip combo.

What have you been loving in the month of April?
