I am finding it really hard to find flowers I like that match the colour scheme we have decided on. My dream is to have midnight blue roses but I am finding it extremely hard to find some that aren't super expensive. Whilst browsing Pintrest I came across these gorgeous cream, white and silver bouquets. My personal favourite is the bottom left I love how classy and elegant it looks and I think the contrast between the white roses and silver jewels would look beautiful against the midnight blue dresses. As the boys will be wearing slate grey suits I like the idea of either mixing silver or grey into the flowers for the bridesmaids as well.

How did you pick your wedding flowers? Did you find it hard?

Everyone in the beauty world knows Rimmel Eastend Snob is the best drugstore dupe for Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk until now. After browsing the Essence stand in my local Wilkinsons I came across their lips liners which when swatched were highly pigmented, super soft and at only a pound each it would have been rude not to pick a couple up. After swatching Satin Mauve I knew it looked very similar to something already in my collection. As soon as I got home I headed straight to my makeup collection and pulled out pillow talk and after two quick swatches the dupe was found. Although I will always love Charlotte Tilbury, with a price difference of £15 I will defiantly be repurchasing the Essence lip liner over the Charlotte Tilbury lip liner. Essence is defiantly now my daily go to lip liner with Pillow Talk being saved for those special occasions.

Have you tried any Essence lip liners? Will you be picking up Satin Mauve?

Time to take a look through my rubbish and see what I have used up over the past couple of months.
    Garnier Micellar Face Wipes
Holy grail face wipes. Super soft and stay moist. You can normally find them on offer as well.
    L'oreal Elvive Nutrigloss Luminiser Shampoo
I bought this when it was first released as it was on offer. It did what it said on the label and left my hair feeling soft and looking glossy. I did get a bit bored of it towards the end but that tends to happen with any shampoo I use.
    L'Oreal Elvive Nutrigloss Luminiser Conditioner
I found that if I left this conditioner on for around five minutes it acted as a deep conditioner and helped to keep my hair soft for longer.
    Dove Pistachio Body Wash
I love the smell of this, it smells exactly like cake and lets be honest who doesn't want to smell like cake when they get out of the shower. I have already repurchased another bottle.
    Kiko Deodorant
I don't need to say anything about this deodorant, it is defiantly my holy grail.
Essie Good As Gone Clarifying Nail Polish Remover
I found that this nail polish remover super quick and easy, pretty much one swipe and the polish was gone. I have already repurchased.
    Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder Foundation
I have wanted to try this foundation for a while now and it defiantly lived up to expectations. I love the natural coverage it gives. I have have defiantly added it to my birthday wish list.
I Love Perfectly Peachy Bubble Bath Shower Creme
A little sample from the Southampton Bloggers Meet Up. I loved the smell of this and would consider buying it full size due to the campaign it supports.
    Oral B Toothpaste Mini
This little mini was what I kept in my going away bag, it was nice but I am not fussy when it comes to toothpaste.
    Origins Frothy Face Wash
I loved the minty smell this product had, it was super refreshing on a morning and left my skin feeling squeaky clean. I am defiantly tempted to by it in full size.
    Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara
Best drugstore mascara. Would defiantly repurchase.
Rimmel London Wake Me Up Mascara
Was not keen on this mascara. I found it didn't really do a lot for my lashes.
    Avon SuperExtend Winged Out Mascara
Super black formula and defiantly winged out my lashes.
    W7 Absolute Lashes Mascara
Great dupe for Benefit They're Real Mascara. I would defiantly repurchase this to save myself some money.
Model Co and New CID Mascara.
Both of these came free in a magazine. I found they both did nothing for me and they both dried up quickly.
    Yankee Candle Soft Blanket
One of my favourite Yankee candles. I love how fresh and clean it smells.
    Primark Appletini Candle
I loved the scent of this. It smelt exactly like fresh apples.
    Summer Berries Candle
Perfect fruity smell, perfect for burning in the summer evening.

Have you tried any of the products I have used up? What did you think of them?

A few weeks ago my sister and parents came to stay for a week in this time my sister took a trip to London, I sent her armed with a list for the new Lush Oxford Street store. After reading countless blog posts and watching numerous videos about the new products Lush were realising I knew I needed to get my hands on some. I have always been a fan of Comforter Bubble Bar so when I seen they were releasing a shower gel version of it I knew I needed it. Lord of Misrule was defiantly one of my favourite halloween bath bombs so I was intrigued to try the shower gel version of the product. I added Cyanide Pill Bath Bomb to the list as I had seen some demo videos of the product and liked how it looked. After watching countless videos of how they dissolved and how pretty they made the bath look I knew I defiantly wanted Intergalactic and Experimenter. Intergalactic turns your bath water into something that looks like outer space with a mix of peppermint, vetivert and cedarwood and some popping candy to help along the way I am sure this bath bomb will soon become one of my favourites.
With a scent of vanilla I knew Experimenter would be right up my street, filled with bright colours and popping candy I knew it wouldn't disappoint. Experimenter is the only one I have used so far and I did enjoy the scent and how pretty it looked when popped in the water, the only thing I disliked about it was that it left the water a grey colour and I was covered in glitter when I got out the bath.

Have you tried any of the new Lush products? If so what is your favourite?

Michael Kors Jet Set Zip Around Continental Purse.

For our second anniversary Glen very kindly gifted me a Michael Kors purse that I had been lusting after ever since he bought me the Michael Kors Jet Set Tote for valentines day earlier in the year.
I have always been a lover of big purses and this what defiantly fits the bill. The inside of the purse comes with the standard MK lining, a zip coin section, 8 card slots and two large slots.
In one of the slots I keep cash and in the other I keep little bits which include my HSBC internet banking device, my rail card, a photo of Glen and I and some little cards that I have been given over the years.
In the first four cards slots I keep my Bank Card, Joint Account Card, Boots Advantage Card and Superdrug Points Card basically all my important cards. In the other four cards slots I keep my ID, Cineworld Card, Nandos Card, Ikea Card and lots of other random cards that just need to be in my purse.
I love the fact I can fit my iPhone 6 in the middle of the purse so if I am popping to the shop I can literally grab my purse and go.
I would defiantly recommend this purse for anyone who loves a big purse and it is defiantly worth the money.

What essentials do you carry in your purse?

This isn’t a review as such but more of an incite into my first experience entering the Mil-Sim world. I think I may have mentioned in earlier posts briefly about Mil-Sim games and that they are different to standard game days. They normally run over a weekend and consist of two teams going out into a massive playing field with objectives they have to complete. Some have different rules and some require you to stay out in the field overnight, making your defences etc. Personally that’s not quite what I’m looking for in airsoft, so the next best thing is a Mil-Sim day. You are split into two teams, and the scenario is usually released before hand so you have a rough idea what is going to happen.

Here is the scenario for Operation Uprising, which was played at Badgertacs Blue Streak Airsoft.
'Grekistan is a failing Economy. The rich are getting richer and the poor are destitute. With a corrupt government poverty is at an all time high and the countries debts are forcing it out of the trade unions it shares with Europe.
Russia has offered financial aid to Grekistan in return for allowing it to have a military presence in the country. The government have accepted this offer to the outrage of the civilian population and to the dismay of Western powers who will be within striking distance of Russian weapons.
Coerced and funded by a black ops section of the American CIA and Britain's MI6, a militia force is gaining in strength and numbers. The hope is that the militia can disrupt the government forces to such a degree that a Coup can take place to overthrow the current government of Grekistan and replace them with a government more sympathetic to the West.'

    Game day rules in brief:
Militia forces will wear rag tag clothing and equipment - no complete uniforms.
Government forces will wear military style uniforms.
    Riflemen:
300 rounds maximum to be carried on the field including spare ammunition.
    Support gunners:
2000 rounds maximum to be carried on the field including spare ammunition.
    Snipers:
100 rounds maximum to be carried on the field including spare ammunition.

So after the standard game day brief, we all kitted up and headed out. Myself, Rob, Dave and Glen were fighting on the government forces. Unfortunately there was a little less turn out than desired with one big group not making the day, however, with a little co-operation from rebels we borrowed a few players to make the teams balance. There was 10 a side for the day which made for some more tactical and thought out playing rather than charging in like a bull in a china shop, especially with the ammo restrictions which you can see above. I have made a video of the days footage here that captured on my GO PRO, but it is not as action heavy as my last for reasons stated above.

The first game of the day was the Militia to attack and push us out from our main base of operations and surrounding buildings. I had a great hide set up and I had been waiting for a while for them to gain entry, unfortunately the Militia threw in a gas grenade (smoke) and I was unable to exit the building in time! Before anyone watches the video and asks well why not use the back door? That area was out of bounds, which was bad news for me. So after pushing us out of our main base we retreated to our fall back structures, which the militia had to be breach and clear. We held on for a while but in the end the militia succeeded in pushing us all the way back. The next game was for us to counter attack and try and push the militia back out of our fall back structures. We did make progress and pushed them back. The following game the militia had to gather intel at the same time as clearing us from more structures, these games took a little while as we had most entry points covered and the low numbers made it hard to flush us out. Militia finally got us out of the buildings and secured the needed intel. After the lunch break we moved into the woodland and had to protect our weapon locker, with the militia pushing up and around we held the area for a long time with some good woodland fire fights with strategic thinking. Finally we had been pushed back to our last bunker in which the militia had to fill with explosives and ultimately demolish, this was probably the shortest game for me as a well thrown pyro came down the alley and took us out. All in all I really enjoyed the scenario day as it made you think about teamwork and communicate with your team more than you might normally do on a normal game day. I will definitely be looking to participate in more of these. Also if you do watch the video and think I’m talking to myself a lot, it’s only my radio chatter, I’m not crazy. In the next few weeks I will be playing back at Blue Streak for a standard game day and then playing at The Sandpit in Dartford run by UCAP Airsoft so look out for more reviews and footage.
    Thanks for reading.

    Glen.

After taking a bit of a break from blogging I am back with an empties post. Lets take a look through my rubbish and see what I have used up over the past few months.
Ted Baker Grooming Room Candle, Diptyque Geranium Rosa Candle, Nest One O'clock Candle.
I go through candles like there is no tomorrow as I type this I have two burning away. The Ted Baker candle came in a gift set with an aftershave. The candle smells very manly and musky which I really like. My sister kindly gifted me the next two candles, I actually burnt the mini Diptyque candle in a day which was defiantly a new record for me and the Nest candle was a cheeky TKMAX find.
Colab New York Dry Shampoo, Herbal Essence Limited Edition Dry Shampoo, Dove Dry Shampoo.
Colab New York dry shampoo is my new all time favourite and I already have another one on the go. As for the Herbal Essence dry shampoo I was not a fan of this at all as I found it did nothing for me at all. Dove dry shampoo is another favourite of mine, I like using this as more of styling product once I have washed my hair to give me a bit more texture and volume. I would defiantly repurchase this.
    No7 Face Wipes.
I never buy No7 wipes without the £5 off voucher as it makes them £2 which I think is a reasonable price to pay for wipes. I will always repurchase theses when I have a voucher.
    Bioderma.
I am all for trying new micellar waters and was desperate to try Bioderma and managing to pick it up when my sister and I took a trip to London. I enjoyed using it but probably wouldn't repurchase as I think you can pick up better ones for cheaper.
    Ole Henriksen Foaming Cleanser.
I have mentioned this before, it is my all time favourite foaming cleaners. I have one in the bathroom at the minute and two in my stock draws but I will defiantly repurchase in the future.
    DHC Silky Cotton Pads.
Another London purchase. I found these super soft and durable but I would have liked them to be bigger. Personally I probably won't repurchase theses as I go through a lot of cotton wool and find they are a bit pricey.
    Nivea Stress Protect Deodorant.
Unless I am using my all time favourite Kiko deodorant I will purchase whatever deodorant is on offer. I managed to pick this one up for £1. I enjoyed using it and it has quite a fresh smell but I won't be repurchasing as I have my beloved Kiko one back in my life.
    3 Minute Miracle Luscious Long.
I am one of them people that goes through fazes with deep conditioners. I found this worked really well on keeping my longer hair in good condition but once I had my hair cut shorter I found it made my hair feel quite heavy. I would probably repurchase something from the 3 minute miracle range but a product more suited to shorted hair.
Victoria Secrets Aqua Kiss Shower Gel.
I loved this shower gel for the summer months. I found on a hot day it was super refreshing in the shower and the smell defiantly reminded me of a summer day by the beach. At the minute I won't be repurchasing this as I have so many shower gels to get through.
    L'oreal Infallible 24h Matte.
BEST DRUGSTORE FOUNDATION, That is all I need to say. Will defiantly be repurchasing.
Bare Minerals Lash Domination Mascara Mini.
Really enjoyed this mascara - Would purchase in full size.
    Chantecaille Faux Cils Mascara Mini.
Didn't do a lot for my lashes - Would not purchase full size.
    Makeup Revolution Viper Mascara.
Didn't enjoy this mascara again felt like it didn't do a lot for my lashes - Would not repurchase.
    Maybelline The Falsies Mascara.
One of my favourite drugstore mascaras - Would repurchase.

Have your tried and loved any of the products I have mentioned?
