So after, what seemed to be an eternity, I finally got round to going to a game day. So with a 6 month thirst to quench I loaded the car, picked up my friend Rob and headed to Blue Streak Airsoft in Aylesbury. Blue Streak, run by Badgertac’s team and headed up by main man Ian and his partner Bill, AKA Ratty and Gumbo, is an ideal Airsofting site, boasting a range of CQB buildings, most of which have been modified to make them even more exciting, open fields and woodland, also the site is not overly massive so it doesn’t take you an eternity to find your regen and get back in the game. Blue streaks rules are simple break them consistently and your punishment will come in the form of their head marshal, Pete. A friendly a happy chap most of the time, but I wouldn’t want to upset him. The marshalling team as well are spot on as ever and are great at dealing with any situation thrown at them.

First order of the day as with all days was to grab a cuppa which is on the house all day, win! After loading up and fitting batteries it was outside for the sites safety brief, ratty and co try and keep you entertained with many ‘insert your own joke here’ phrases, quickly followed by the days first game scenario. The first game was a good warm up game to get the rentals broken into the day and offers plenty laughs, it was statues, the name says it all really but there is a slight twist, when your shot it’s the standard “hit!” call and remain still with your hand in the air, and the only way to return to the gameplay is for your own team to shoot you back in. I have played this game plenty of times and your really do find out who your friends are! To win the game you simply have to eliminate the other team.

The next game was more structured and organised into phases. The first phase was to search and clear certain buildings and areas to obtain two pyros, phase two was to assault a further two buildings and detonate the devices in a certain location. My team didn’t do too well on the first phase taking about 40 mins to find the devices, we only had 9 mins to assault and detonate the bombs. We managed to detonate one bomb but not the second. So after being a bit disappointed we headed back to re arm.

The next game was simple reversal, knowing we had to hold the opposition back for a decent amount of time we organised our defences and headed out. This was an eventful game with a lot of woodland close quarter action, I think we used our sidearms more than the snipers, which me and Rob thought would have been better at keeping them back from a distance. Still after being eliminated I headed for the second phase area. The rest of my team joined me soon after. We all had thought they had the upper hand, turns out we done a lot better job than we originally thought, they had only 5 mins to assault the buildings. After a few intense minutes we emerged victorious.

Lunch was served and no burger or hot dog to be found but instead a cold meat platter with coleslaw, salad, potato salad and pesto pasta. Not bad at all, all supplied from the local Waddesdon Deli. They do a great game stew in the winter to.

The next game after lunch was interesting variation of an old game, downed pilot. Again the title explains it but this time the pilot had not been told which team he was to go with, he was armed and allowed to use it and run from you, so actually had to physically capture him. Not quite to the extent of fisticuffs but one hand on the shoulder. Also if your escort let go of him he was entitled, and I believe encouraged, to run for it! With this in mind we had an escort plan in mind with one man on point, one on the prisoner, two guards either side and one providing rear security. Sadly our plan didn’t get used as we couldn’t find him, I’m still not sure who did in the end. But there was some good fire fights along the way.

The next game was a building clearance with defenders having to repel the attackers as long as possible and preventing them from finding the intel, 6 phones, a hardrive and a laptop. The attackers had a few more medic lives and a fairly close regen which made it hard to push them back but we held on for a while and in the end the attackers came out on top. Unfortunately the day was coming to an end and we didn’t have time to reverse this game, instead we played a simple all in intense game where your team had to get as many players inside an area and hold it, similar to king of the hill. After returning from the field bruised and exhausted me and Rob packed our kit and after a quick chat to Ratty and the boys headed home. Will be definitely be heading back soon, especially since Ratty has some toys coming for me, watch this space.

So all in all a great site and a great day thanks to Ratty and all the lads again me and Rob will see you soon.

Also if you do go to play at Blue Streak, which you should! You maybe lucky enough to see one of the regulars run the gauntlet. This is when it’s your birthday near or around game day and your present from Blue Streak is to run the gauntlet. All players line up both sides and Jon, who’s turn it was on Sunday, made the run. There is a clip on YouTube of his run, see the link below, would you be up to it?

I managed to catch most of the day on my GoPro, here is the game footage Blue Streak Airsoft 21.06.15

Here is the clip of Jons gauntlet run.

Hope to see you at Blue Streak soon.

I can loose hours on an evening browsing through Ebay. On my latest browse my first search was for photo frames. Glen and I have just had all the pictures from our engagement party and they are currently in an album we received as a present on the night but I would like to put some of us in a frame. I came across this Shabby Chic Wall Heart Photo Frame, anyone who knows me knows I have a bit of an obsession with heart photo frames. This would be perfect in our bedroom, I love the shabby chic design.
I had been reading a few blog posts about makeup brushes from Ebay. I love my Real Techniques brushes but I am always on the look out for more brushes to add to my collection. I came across this Five Piece Eyeshadow Brush Set and this Ten Piece Brush Set. I love how cheap they are and the black and sliver design. They may have to be added to my collection.
After watching Fayes Fix haul video where she featured a Foldable Handbag, an excellent dupe of the Longchamp Bag I knew I had to have a look on Ebay for it as Glen and I are heading back to the North in a couple of weeks to stay with my parent and while we are there we are spending the night in York for our 2 year anniversary. This bag will be perfect for the overnight stay.

Now onto my little update. First off sorry for being a bit non-existent lately. I have been working more hours at work and as some of you may know I have PCOS and lately it isn't being to nice to me. Hopefully it will sort itself out soon. As I mentioned Glen and I are heading back to the North in a couple of weeks and we are both looking forward to a well deserved break.

Do you have an Ebay recommendations? Hope you are all well.

So this post should have been an outfit post from Saturday night when Glen and I took his parents out for a meal for their anniversary but in true Lottie fashion I was running slightly late and had no time for photos ooppss. I still wanted to bring you an outfit post today but as I write this I am sat in my pajamas which I don't think you would be that interested in even if they do have doughnuts on them and then it came to me I tend to take a lot of outfit pictures in the mirror as there normally isn't anyone around to take photos for me so I have come up with the idea of doing a little series of outfit posts from the mirror so you still see how I like to dress.
My outfit featured in todays post is an outfit I wore out for dinner a couple of weekends ago when Glen and I went on a little spa night break. I have also added in my outfit I wore to do a bit of shopping the following day.

    Dress - New Look
    Shoes - Choice Outlet

Top - Next but bought from Choice Outlet
    Jeans - Dorothy Perkins
    Flip Flops - TU Sainsbury's

Can you believe we are half way through the year already?! This year is going so quickly and it has defiantly been filled with mixed emotions.
January was an extremely tough month for Glen and I and our families. Not to dwell on it too much but we went through our second miscarriage.
February was Valentines day and I was extremely spoilt by Glen with a Michael Kors handbag and a Ted Baker make-up bag.
March was a tough month for me as March is my mams birthday and it was also mothers day. It was the first mothers day in 21 years that I haven't spent with my mam which was quite sad.
April was the best month of 2015 for me. Glen and I headed back to the North with his family to spent Easter with my family. On the morning of Good Friday Glen gave me the best surprise ever and asked me to be his wife. We could not be happier and can not wait to plan our perfect wedding together. We also had our engagement party in April and we were extremely spoilt by all our friends and family.
May was a pretty boring we both worked lots but we did manage to squeeze in a mini spa weekend which was lovely and we both came back feeling extremely relaxed.
And now here we are in June. June is a crazy manic month for us with lots of anniversaries and birthdays. We also have some weekends with friends planned this month as well.
As for the rest of the year we have a few things planned.
July is mine and Glens anniversary and we are heading back to the North for a week. We are spending our anniversary in York as it has a lot of memories for us.
August my parents are coming to stay for a week and I am super excited as it means I will see them twice in the space of three weeks which makes me super happy.
September Glen and I are going to see a country singer at The 02 with some friends and staying in London for the night.
October Glen is going to see Bullet for my valentine with his brother and October is my birthday month.
November actually has nothing planned yet but I'm sure it will consist of Christmas shopping.
December is Glens birthday month and it is kind of tradition that we go to Winter Wonderland to celebrate.

Can you believe it is June already? How is your year going?

All us girls in the beauty community all have one thing in community, we all dislike cleaning our make-up brushes. Japonesque may have saved us all from the dreaded task. Their Solid Brush Cleaner makes brush cleaning a dream. All you have to do is wet the solid cleanser under the tap, wet your brush, swirl the brush around on the cleanser and then rinse out the soap and as if by magic you have perfectly clean brushes. Once you have cleaned all brushes rinse of an dirt from the cleanser and leave out to dry. Once dry you can pop the lid back on and it is all ready to go for the next time you need to clean your brushes.

Do you dislike the task of cleaning your brushes? Have you tried any solid brush cleansers?

    You will need:
    500g pork mince
    500g beef mince
2 slices of bread as breadcrumbs
Half a tablespoon of garlic salt
Half a tablespoon of onion salt
Half a tablespoon of mixed herbs
    Pinch of salt
    Pinch of pepper
    Pinch of ground nutmeg
    Splash of milk

Step 1 - Place both the pork and beef mince in a bowl and mix together with your hands.
Step 2 - Add in the breadcrumbs and mix together with your hands.
Step 3 - In a bowl mix together your herbs.
Step 4 - Add all the herbs into the mince mixture and mix together with hands.
Step 5 - Next gradually start adding splashes of milk whilst mixing the mixture together with your hands until the mince mixture sticks together.
Step 6 - Once your mixture is ready break off bits of the mixture. We used tennis ball sizes of meat.
Step 7 - Press your meat into burger shapes. We used a burger press but you could use your hands or rolling pin.
Step 8 - You can cook these straight away but we let ours rest for about 15 mins.
Step 9 - Time to cook. You can either bbq, fry or grill your burgers. We BBQ'ed ours for 10-15 mins.
Step 10 - Pop them in a bun with whatever your fancy on top. My favourite is just lots of tomato sauce.

This recipe is perfect for BBQ season.

Lets take a look through my rubbish and see what I have used up over the past few months.
Soap and Glory Whipped Clean Shower Butter
First off the smell is amazing. I loved how soft it made my skin feel and it was perfect for shaving my legs as well.
Would I repurchase? - Yes defiantly.
    Oval Cotton Wool Pads
Cotton pads are cotton pads to me. I tend to just buy whatever is on offer at the time.
Would I repurchase? - I always buy cotton wool so yes.
    Minion 2 in 1
Every year for Christmas my mam does me a beauty basket and because I am minion obsessed she popped a bottle of this in for me. I used it as bubble bath and it did create nice bubbles.
Would I repurchase? - I can't say I would but I would be happy to receive it as a gift.
    Ole Henriksen Sheer Transformation
I got this mini sample from my sister as she said it was similar to hope in a jar which is my all time favourite moisturiser. I really enjoyed this sample and I would defiantly compare it to hope in a jar.
Would I repurchase? - Yes but the full size is £48.
Jo Malone Wood Sage and Sea Salt
I was kindly gifted a Jo Malone candle last month and with it came a free sample of Wood Sage and Sea Salt. I am a little bit in love with this fragrance and now I am desperate for the full size.
Would I repurchase? - Yes defiantly in the full size.
Versace Yellow Diamond Eau de Toilette
When Glen and I attended a wedding show a few months ago I was given lots of little gift bags and in one of them there was a few perfume samples. One of them being Versace Yellow Diamond which I did enjoy using. I found it had quite a sweet smell.
    Would I repurchase? - No I don't think I would.
    Rimmel Lasting Finish Primer
Once again primer is primer and I tend to buy what is on offer or whatever the new release is at the time. I did enjoy using this and it did make my skin feel quite soft.
Would I repurchase? - Yes I would repurchase.
    Kiko All Day Deodorant
All time favourite deodorant. All I need to say!
Would I repurchase? - Yes every time I go to London I do.
    The Body Shop Banana Shampoo
I bought this when I was back home from a Body Shop Outlet. I used it once of twice a week as a clarifying shampoo.
Would I repurchase? - Yes and plan to in July when I head back home.
Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Butter Mini
Sugar crush is defiantly one of soap and glory's best scents. I could literally just sit and smell this body butter.
Would I repurchase? - Yes defiantly.
    Yankee Candle Candy Cane Lane
This was Christmas present from my sister. I love anything mint scented so this was defiantly a winner for me. It is just a putty that it is a Christmas scent.
Would I repurchase? - Yes defiantly.
Tesco Bubble Bath and Rose Petal
I picked this up on one of my random trips to Tesco for some lunch. It is meant to be a relaxing candle but I found the rose scent a bit overpowering.
Would I repurchase? - No I would not.
    Burberry Body
Again a present from my sister. The scent was exactly the same as the perfume. I am going to clean the pot out and use it for something.
    Would I repurchase? - Yes I would.
    Victoria's Secret Luminous Amber
The scent of this smelt exactly like the amber body lotion and body spray from Victoria Secrets. The scent filled the whole room and you could smell it even when it wasn't lit.
Would I repurchase? - Yes defiantly.

I have been eyeing the Urban Decay concealer up for a long time now and after reading a lot of reviews I think I am going to pick it up when I head back home in July. I am loving eyeshadow sticks at the minute and currently have my eyes excuse the pun on the a Chanel one which also might be purchased when I head home in July. Just like everyone else in the beauty community I love trying new micellar waters and I can't not wait to find the soap and glory one. Unfortunately I can't find it in Boots yet. I don't need any more brushes but these mini ones are so cute and perfect for travel. I have read a lot of good reviews on the Makeup rev Lip Lavas. I am hoping I can find them in a Superdrug soon, if not I might have to place a cheeky online order. I find lip crayons so easy quick and easy to use and once again I have read a lot of good reviews on them.

Beauty items I currently have on my wish list.
Urban Decay Concealer £17.50, Chanel Fresh Effect Eyeshadow Carboube £23.00, Soap & Glory 5-in-1 Micellar Cleansing Water £6.00, Makeup Revolution Mini Brushes £4.95, Makeup Revolution Lip Lava £2.99, Maybelline Color Show Lipstick Red Essential £4.99.

What is on your beauty wishlist? Have you tried anything on my wishlist?

Rub a dub dub lets take a look at what I use in the shower. As soon as I hop in the shower I shampoo my hair, at the minute I am using the new LOreal Elvive Nutri Gloss Luminiser Shampoo which I am quite liking at the minute. It leaves my hair feeling soft and defiantly gives it a shine. After shampooing I put conditioner onto the mid lengths of my hair on while I go about the rest of the normal shower business. I am currently using the new LOreal Elvive Nutri Gloss Luminiser Conditioner which matches the shampoo. I think helps with the softness and it is pink what more could you want. Normally on a Sunday when I am having a bit of a pamper I will Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Conditioner to give my hair a deep condition and a bit of T.L.C. While my conditioner does its work I will use Emma Hardie Cleansing Balm to get rid of all the make-up on my face. My sister introduced me to this balm and now I am a little bit in love. Depending what mood I am in sometimes I will just use Ole Henriksen Foaming Cleanser to clean my face. Glen is obsessed with how it is liquid in the bottle but comes out as foam. Again my sister introduced me to this and I am a little bit obsessed. At the minute I am using Ted Baker Shower Gel which I think I got for Christmas. I don't mind it but it isn't one of my favourites so I am just trying to use it up. After I have washed I shave my legs, I am currently using a Gillette Simply Venus Disposable Razor, lets just say they do the job. My final step in the shower is to rinse out the conditioner and that is me done.

    What are your shower essentials?

If you have been following me for a while you will know that in the beginning Glen and I were in a long distance relationship. 7 months into our relationship we both took a massive leap of faith and I moved from the North to the South so we could take our relationship to the next level and start living together.
I won't lie being in a long distance relationship was hard. Celebrating birthdays and special events without having that one person next to you was hard. No matter how hard it was it was defiantly worth it in the end.
I know everyone is different and everyones relationships are different but below I have listed some things that I found helped me get through the tough times.
♥ Communication - Even just a text saying how are you? Hope you are having a good day.
♥ Travel - The excitement of seeing that person at the end always makes the traveling worth it.
♥ Having a goal - Glen and I both had in mind where we wanted to end up and personal I think it helped.
♥ Stay positive - Sometimes things do get tough but staying positive is a must.
♥ Use video calling - Glen and I spent hours facetiming each other. Most of the time Glen would be on his xbox and I would be doing something like tidying up but it was nice just to have him there.
♥ Take interest in each other families - It is always good to take interest in their family as one day they will be part of your life as well.
♥ Don't hide things from each other - If something is troubling you talk about it with them.
♥ Make memories - Even if it just spending the day in bed with junk food and movies make the most of every minute together and make special memories together.
♥ Don't listen to negativity - When Glen and I got together a lot of people said it wouldn't work because of the distance. Nearly two years on look where we are now. Middle finger to the people who didn't think it would work.
♥ Do what you both want - Glen and I had only been together 7 months when I made the move to the South and a lot of people said I was silly for doing it but it is what we both wanted and we wouldn't change it for the world.

How did you meet your partner? I hope this helped some of you in long distance relationships.

Month five of 2015 over and done with. With the summer weather fast approaching a couple of my favourites defiantly reflect that. This month I have been loving Barry M In A Heart Beat, a gorgeous peach pink colour which makes even someone as pale as me look a bit more tanned. I loved it that much that instead of changing the polish when it started to wear away I just took it off and reapplied it. I don't think I have ever done that with a polish. On the lines of tanning another favourite this month has been Garnier Summer Body, perfect for us pale girls who just want a nice summer glow. As summer is coming soon hopefully it was time to crack out the summer foundation. I have been loving mixing together YSL Touche Èclat Foundation and L'oreal 24 Hours Matte Foundation. Together they give me great coverage and last all day. I have never been a big shampoo and conditioner lover, the way I see it is if it makes my hair clean then it's fine but this month I have been loving Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Conditioner. I used it about two times a week and it leaves my hair feeling super soft. I also find it shortens the drying time of my hair as well which is always a winner for me as I have super long hair. Onto fragrance I was kindly gifted a Jo Malone Blackberry and Bay Candle which smells amazing. With the candle came a tester size of Wood Sage and Sea Salt, Lets put it this way I need the full size. Now for my random food favourite. I never normally want to eat on a morning so Belvita Breakfast Biscuits have defiantly been a favourite of mine this month as I can just pop them in my bag and either eat them on my way to work or once I get there. They are also a good mid afternoon snack.

What have you been loving in the month of May?
